So this summer I went out to sea as a merchant marine cadet and became less lazy. Before I left I had a huge belly and I weighed 241 pounds. I'm 6'2. This was a huge inconvenience and ruined my confidence and hurt my determination. By the end of my summer at sea, I had lost 15 pounds, and then 3 more since I've been home. I'm back at college now, this is day 3, and I have been to the cardio room every day so far. I've been eating way healthier, which means smaller plates, no soda, usually a yogurt and grain lunch, and no sweets whatsoever. For the first time in my life I'm actually doing something about my body, and I have never been more happy. But besides the intensive cardio I've been doing, and the healthier eating habits, what other tips can you offer to help me lose more belly fat? What exercises specifically, or foods specifically can target belly fat? I'm at 222 pounds now and I would like to get down to 205-210. I know I can do it, I just need more ways of getting there faster. Thank you.
How to Lose Weight With a Six Week Program
Recommended Answer:
•Eat healthy home cooked meals, Use less oil, low salt, fresh produce, and you'll start seeing results in no time.•Cardio constitutes as an effective means of reducing belly fat, provided you keep it within reason. Losing belly fat with cardio is a tool. There is no way to target fat loss in any area of your body. You need to lose some of that extra fat over your abs. Even if you work out and get huge abs muscles, if there is still a layer of fat over them no one will ever get to see them. Cardio workouts are workouts that raise your heart rate for a given set of time. Some examples would be running, jogging, cycling, dancing and rowing.
