How to lose weight for teens?

Hey I'm 13 and I'm not overweight or anything I just have a little EXTRA weight I wouldn't mind losing. It's mostly in my thighs now don't get me wrong im NOT going to starve my self and I'm NOT one of those "thigh gap" obsessed teens. Really what I'm looking for is some good excercises and tips on how to avoid/cut out junk food and healthy eating tips etc. thanks guys!
