Football coming up on 9th grade i need some help.?

Well lets start off im a 14 year old thats going to High school next year, and im nervous on going to high school, which i know is normal. So, lets get to the chase. Alright im 6.1 and growing quick aside from that, im overweight i weigh AROUND 270, i was 280 but i lost a few, anyways im going to join football for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!. My main worries are not keeping up with the others, being too slow, and not being able to do push ups, which I'm very frightened by the fact that i cant do any, and i will be having coaches screaming in my face. I'm very shy and i don't like that at all. And like i said earlier my first time playing football so i don't know anything about it AT ALL! I know no plays at all, and nothing about the sport, and once and if i make it to a game and mess up, i wont like it the shame in it, and actually i have never played any sport in my life, (except at home) the few reasons i am joining are 1. Everbody in the hole damn world bugs and say "Hey you should join football" or "You play football?" And i say ''no". And then i get that what the hell look. And 2 i am overweight, and i have been since i was 7 years old so half of my life so far. Which is bad in my eyes. So i think its a sound plan that i join so far. Oh and i have never had a girlfriend which makes football seem like a good plan. Thanks i am feeling like im being attacked with pressure. Please Help!

How to Lose Weight in the Feet

First off, learn the rules. Now. Once you go to try outs they're not gonna baby you, and if you don't know the rules then they will yell at you for sure. If you did follow football, there's positions that requires a large person to take down opponents. They'll understand you being slower than fit players, but you don't want to be holding everyone up. Start training now. Go for runs or walks or whatever you're capable of and lift weights. Football player spend a ton of time in the weight room, might as well get a head start. It's really easy to tell if someone hasn't played a sport before so you need to put the rest of your summer into this. The coaches can be mean, but they're not gonna be that bad at try outs. Honestly you're scaring yourself. It's going to be physically demanding though. Start looking up drills and things you need to know to be a football player so you can come into practice as prepared as you can be. Practice tackling if you can and youll need to buy gear. As for the weight loss, I knew a kid who started football in high school and lost 100 pounds from it. Don't sweat it, go to one tryout and if you hate it, don't come to the next. It's worth it to stick it out
