The more they pay, the more seriously they will take it, but on the other hand you will also have to give good value with your classes, counselling, talks on nutrition, etc.How much do Weight Loss Challenges usually cost to enter?

20? 30? 40? Its a NEW weight loss group that Ive formed and so far I only have 6 participants. I don't even know if all of them will join my weight loss challenge (cash pool) but it doesn't even begin until November 15, 2013 so there is still a chance that more people will join and network with us on this event. My group is part of a popular social network (meetup.com) and so bottom line I think I might have 10 participants but hopefully a lot more "?" I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLY want to do this, not really for moneys sake but just to feel more 'part of a group' other than meeting up regularly for occasional walks. So how much should it cost? Right now I have it scheduled for $20. On the website for them I have: 75% ($15) of your $20 will go towards the grand prize 12.5% ($2.50) of your $20 will go towards 2nd prize 12.5% ($2.50) of your $20 will go towards the raffle For instance if there are 20 participants, each registering $20 Grand Prize $300 2nd place $50 Raffle $50 Any advice on this? Is it worth peoples time? I know the bigger pot the better.... but, we're new =) Thoughts ideas, etc?
