What would happen if I burned all of the calories?

Say throughout the day I consumed about 1,800 calories. And I had this machine that counted the calories you burned, and say before I went to bed I burned those 1,800 calories. What would happen? Would I lose weight? Or stay the same?Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm just curious and I kind of want to try that.

How to Lose Weight Quickly

Recommended Answer:

i wouldnt try that its extremely risky to your health!you should never drop below 1000 calories for the day, your body will starveif you eat 1800 calories, absolutely do not burn more than 800 calories thru exerciseyour body will run out of fuel and start to fail causing dizziness & fainting, trust me

Other Answers:

  • You would actually lose a ton of weight. When the machine says that you've burned 1800 calories, it doesn't take afterburn into effect. After you burn all of those calories, your metabolism spikes and you lose more weight throughout the day. Chances are, youd've burned over 2500 calories. That being said, that amount of calorie burnage probably isn't very healthy.
  • Ignore nonsense above. You probably didn't ask the question right. You burn calories 24 hours a day, even when asleep. So I think what you're asking is, what if you burn the same number of calories all through the 24-hour day as you take in? And the answer is, your weight stays the same. You are neither having to tap into your energy stores (ie, bodyfat, leading to weight loss), nor are you storing excess energy (gaining fat). You're eating just the right amount for weight stability. And by the way humans have been good at doing this for a million years -- eating just what they need and no more. Humans and animals naturally can do this, without ever counting calories. Obesity has only become a problem in recent decades -- since we started being conscience of counting calories, ironically. I mean not EXACTLY -- one day you eat a bit much, and the next day you eat a bit less, but it all cancels out. A healthy metabolism drives a person or animal to do this subconsciously.
  • What is a calorie and what does it do to your body? If you want to know more about it please read on.Calories, what are they? People are forever watching them. They either add them to their bodies or have them removed. Almost everyone blames calories for their health and weight woes. Nothing is blamed as much as they, but why? That's something that we'd like to explore here. And what is a calorie anyway?Counting calories can really make the difference if you know ways how to subtract them from your body rather than add them. You can do it on your own or you can ask professional help. There are many of these available online. You'll get better results with proper guidance and programming. Everybody can count calories if they put their mind into it, but not everybody can do removing them from the body successfully without any help. What I really mean is that in order to get the job done, you should have the will to do it. And you can only do it if you have allies to back you up every step of the way.Remember to stick to your diet and exercise. I know this is easier said than done, that's why I emphasize that you should get help. Your gym buddy is one; other weight loss organization is another. Family, friends, and relatives can also be valuable sources of encouragement. There are many people who made it. You can do it if you're determined to do it.
