I'm going through the same exact thing and im 16 too :) Earlier this year I lost a whole bunch of weight but gained a lot of it back. Now I'm pudgy and looking to lose the weight again. This is what I've been doing lately to help me lose weight.- Drink a lot more water. Replace soda and sugary drinks with it. If its hard for you (like it is for me) drink V8 fusion or get mason jars, fill them with water and lemon and let sweet fruit like berries sit in it for a week in your fridge, add sugar as desired.-Exercise as much as you can. Even if your not in the mood to do anything, force yourself to do AT LEAST 25 situps when you wake and 25 before bed, 4-7 times a week. What this will do is tighten those muscles so that your pudge is disguised better. If you like exercising, run/jog/walk 1-5 miles a day if possible, do cardio, situps, squats, and pushups and work on muscle strength.-Know that you will gain the weight back if you engage in unhealthy eating habits after you hit your goal. Try to eat a lot more fruits and veggies, or at least incorporate them more into your meal while getting rid of what's unhealthy.-Let yourself fall into temptation SOMETIMES. On certain occasions if you hold out too long, a craving will evolve from just wanting a snickers to eating a gallon of snickers ice-cream(from personal experience). Also learn healthy delicious recipies(like how to make a chocolate mousse with greek yogurt). For my cravings, the fiber one protein bars do wonders for me.   • okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows: Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly) eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a slow cooker /food steamer & rice/pasta cooker to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink mainly water (green tea , juice & milk being the other options you drink). If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken. also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise. * you should lose about 10 lbs per month ** for a very healthy "snack"..learn how to make "huumus" (look online for very easy recipe)..it fills you up and is very low in calories and is very tasty.
  • You should just have a nice diet drink water instead of soda (if you do drink water already that's great). Exercise is also very great thing to do it will help with the diet to lose weight. Don't over do the exercise because it will make you want to eat and you don't want to strain your muscles.
