Will this water diet make me thinner & lose weight?

I'm 18, 5'5 & weigh 139.6 pounds. I know that's not too bad but I'm starting to get pretty insecure about it. I really want to be in the 120's because that is where all the skinny people my height & age are. I have been trying to get over a pretty bad cold now but that has nothing to do with my weight. From this I have had to drink plenty more water which has gotten me to feel bloated. I was thinking, what if I could put my self on a water diet. What I would do is when I get hungry, I just fill my stomach with about 2 pounds or more of water so when I eat, I don't eat too much because of all the water in my belly. I do this every day & see if I have lost much. Yet every time I pee, I have to drink the same amount so I stay stuffed. Will this work & if so, how much weight should I lose in a week? And is the peeing & drinking water right after trick a good idea?
