Decent ways to lose weight for teenage boy?

Well im a 15 year old boy. im about 180lbs. i joined my high school track team as a freshman (last year) and I lost a lot of weight but i gained it all back during the summer. the thing is losing weight is hard for me when i don't have friends or coaches to push me to do it. i would workout with my friends but all my friends don't want to and they are all ready skinny. My best friend would do so but she left this state. I cant join the gym here because its expensive and from what i see its useless due to the lack of equipment. Food wise my mother doesn't buy healthy food. no matter how much i beg her she wont do it. she would buy salad and some carrots but that's it nothing else. she wont let me go to the store with her either because ill supposedly annoy her. Do you have any decent ways for me to lose weight?i will join track again this year but its in spring so i want to lose as much weight as i can till then

A couple of ideas for you:1) This is a really good article from Fitness Magazine."Control Your Cravings for GoodIN THIS STORY:Why We Have CravingsHow to Conquer Your CravingsSome foods really are too good to resist. Here's the scientifically proven way to take control of your cravings, stay slim, and still feel satisfied." (see article below)2) See a nutritionist to ascertain what your daily food intake should be and what foods are best for you to lose weight. You may be advised to keep a journal of all you eat at meals and for snacks and to write down your calories for everything, e.g, "1 med apple", "2 slices whole wheat bread, "3 oz steamed fish". This is a GOOD thing to do because keeping careful track keeps us honest! (Ask the nutritionist how many calories you need to eat for you to lose weight.)3) Get in at least 45 minutes to an hour of exercise a day: walking, jogging, swimming, playing an active sport.)4) Drink at least 8 glasses of water during the day.

Other Answers:

  • Eat less . Do cardio excersizing and lots of push ups . Search up Z-Ro on tips on losing weight
  • Running and strength training! Last summer I ran 1-2 miles every day and did an ab workout, with one break day a week, and lost almost 9 pounds in a month! I'd just say, workout, and eat healthier. If you workout and continue to eat bad food, not much will change. Try doing track again and keep working out after! You could try swim team! My friend did swim team and he lost a ton of weight and toned up too! Good luck!
