If I cut after bulking will I be even stronger?

I know I'll be able to do things like more push ups and pull ups. But will I be able to lift more? Say I'm 130 and bench 160. If I cut to say 124 7% body fat will my bench increase, stay the same, or decrease?

How to Lose Weight Without Cardio

Recommended Answer:

Your bench could possibly increase a few pounds, but not much more than that. When you bench, the resistance is the bar and the weights on it. Losing a bit of fat around your arms subtracts from the weight you have to lift making it a tad bit easier. As for pushups and pull-ups, you'll be able to knock out maybe 10-20 pushups and possibly 3-10 more pull-ups because the sole resistance is bodyweight in both exercises. Whatever weight you lose, think of a person wearing a weight vest and when they lose fat, a weight bar is taken out from the vest, making it easier to perform pushups/pull-ups.
