Gain weight without adding too much to midsection?

My natural weight is actually underweight (unfortunately). I'm so naturally petite that my BMI has never been where it should be for my entire life no matter how hard I try. Well, I've discovered the Strawberry Hulk from Smoothie King and they're actually working! I just want my BMI to be where it should finally and also get sone weight on my bony arms and legs finally! >_< Now I know that you can't choose where you want weight to go, but are there things I can do to keep my abs as close to where they are now as possible while I'm gaining weight? They're my favorite body part. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

How to Eat Chocolate to Lose Weight

There are two things wrong with your thinking.1. You did not discovered a way to gain weight.. You simply found an easy - and probably fun - way to consumer more calories. I don't know what your diet was like before your smoothie because you didn't tell us. However, drinking smoothies is a poor way to gain fat and that's all you're going to gain just by adding a smoothie to your diet. What you should be doing is eating more food instead of drinking something that does not have the nutritional profile of a proper diet. If a smootie will make you gain weight, then so will a diet of good food. Start eating a good and proper diet of food and stop pretending your yummy smoothie is some magic solution to your weight problem.2. When you add body fat, you have no control over where it goes. So, if it ends up at your waist - which is likely - , you're going to be stuck with a choice: A fatter waist or a lower body weight. It's a shame you neglected to mention your age because teenagers often experience changes in their growing bodies and then attribute them to things which have nothing to do with them. You could, for example, have had a growing spurt at the time you made your "discovery" and then thought the smoothie was some sort of fix for a low body weight.Good luck and good health!!♠
