I'm 15 so How to loose weight?

Okay so I'm 15 (about to be 16) and I weight 190. I'm about 5'6.5. I know it cant be healthy and I want to change it. Ive had a problem with my weight my whole life, and even struggle on & off with bulimia driving myself crazy trying to loose some weight. I decided it's time to get serious and loose weight now seriously and HEALTHILY. I don't want to try like a diet plan like south beach because I hear it stops working and you gain everything back if you ever switch off of it. I went up and a pant size & I know if I don't make some changes, I'm gonna have to buy new pants like every year. ALL new pants. I know that it's really quite simple...eat less, exercise more. But it's hard, I cant pay for a gym subscription, I don't take gym because I'm in band & that's really not much of a workout. (no offense band) It's just hard to find foods that taste good and are super healthy, food that tastes bad is what turns me off whenever I try to diet because I think theres no way I can eat like this the rest of my life. I just need tips, cafeteria tips so I can find something healthy to eat at school, how to stay motivated, exercises I can do at home. What should I do? I have no idea where to start!

How to Lose Weight by Eating Flaxseed

Recommended Answer:

For weight loss, dieting is more effective than exercise. Reducing your intake of junk sugar will help as in items 22 and 106 in http://www.rheumatic.org/sugar.htm The natural sugars in fruits are OK as they are metabolised to glucose slowly due to their high fiber content. Fruits are low in calories and are not fattening. Most fruits are metabolism boosting foods and most vegetables as well and that helps for weight loss.

  • eat healthy, and you should go to the gym if you just eat healthy the max you can loose a week is probably 1 pound..... if you excersize you can lose like 1-3 pounds, but you are overweight, so you can probably loose more pounds at the start then it will get harder.
  • try typing in six pack shortcuts on youtube they will give you all the information and exercise routines you need plus its for teens good luck :)
  • Just eat healthy nd exercise for eating yu could wat yu want just smaller portions eat fruit nd vegetables and excercis you dnt need a heavy work out just by walking everyday regularly alternate jog walk jog walk you will see it will help you loose weight trust me i used to be 298 by doing this and sticking to it i am at 190 it took me 8 months but i feel great
  • Got a smart phone? If so, install "my fitness pal" on it. I love this app because it makes it super easy to track EVERYTHING I eat. I never leave a thing out! I lost 30 pounds and have kept it off for 2 years! :) The key is to just eat less than your body burns each day. On this site http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ you can calculate how many calories your body burns each day without exercising. About eating good quality food, I am all for it! I eat all organic because it is better for you. But if that is not an option, just try to make veggies the main part of your diet while not neglecting meats and whole grains. Avoid any food that is "fake" like pop tarts or cookies. Treat fruit like your new desert. Good luck with the diet changes!
  • You can try eating just a tiny bit less each meal, especially at dinner. If you feel hungry, you could replace your snack with your favorite fruits or eat several small meals instead of big meals. Drink a full glass of water before each meal should fill you up & make you feel fuller without eating much. Cut down on carbs and if you think you can do it, try going without carbs for dinner. It helped me a lot. If you can't afford gym it's find, don't worry. You could jog or run and if you have time and place, ride a bike. Walking up and down the stairs helps burning a lot of calories. Don't stretch yourself too much when you first start, so you won't get discouraged. Remember, you shouldn't drink Coke or anything similar, stick to water and sugarless fruit juice instead. You can sure find some healthy, low calorie yet delicious recipe, or vegetarian recipe on the internet.Anyway, I hope that helps! Good luck and stay healthy, Ok?!?

Should I notify all my contacts if my email has sent spam?

This morning I received an email from myself with a subject line: Effective and Effortless Weight pills, and content: "Weight loss herbal pills cheap" plus a URL which I won't repeat here since i don't know the danger. It's obviously spam. My question is, should I send a warning to everyone in my various address books? I use Thunderbird and there is a "Collected addresses" book with hundreds. Plus my own personal address book, about 150. Thanks for your help.

healthy meals/lifestyle?

I'm a bit new to eating healthy and living the healthy lifestyle so I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what to eat and some good slimming exercises. Like how many meals a day should I eat? and what are some nice healthy meals I could eat and what I should avoid eating? As for exercises I just need to know any that can keep my figure (legs, belly, butt) toned and thin. :)

How to Eat Carbs and Lose Weight

Here's a good low-carb food/exercise plan:Breakfast: Cook 9-grain cereal (from health food store) in water with rolled oats and wheat bran. Make a pot of it on weekends and nuke 1/2 cup each morning. Add low fat milk or yogurt, banana, walnuts and berries. Drink hot Ovaltine. Breakfast should be your largest meal of the day to raise blood sugar level which falls during the night.Lunch: Egg, tuna or turkey ½ sandwich on multi-grain (not just whole wheat) bread with bean or alfalfa sprouts, yogurt, fresh fruit. If you had meat loaf for dinner, bring a meat loaf sandwich on whole grain bread (NO mayo). On cold days, a squatty thermos of hot chili, split peas with ham, or beef stew.Snacks: Fresh (not canned) fruit. Nothing ever from a vending machine. Dinner: salad with white meat chicken and fresh (not canned) veggies: tomatoes, 2 kinds of lettuce, 2 kinds of shredded cabbage, shredded or sliced carrots, alfalfa or bean sprouts, zucchini, green or red peppers, hard boiled eggs, brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, tofu, cottage cheese...Instead of dressing, squeeze 1/4 tomato over it. Or homemade bean/vegetable soups; great way to recycle leftovers.Or grilled fish with steamed veggies.Or omelet: In blender, whip together eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, onions, garlic powder. Cook with mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and green or red peppers. Avoid junk food, fast foods, pastries, desserts, anything with sugar (cancer cells feed on sugar), gluten, syrup (even canned fruit in syrup), peanut butter, fat/grease (pork, wieners, chops, bacon, salami, pizza, chips, fries), pasta, potatoes, ramen, popcorn, white bread, rice, canned veggies, ice cream, soda, chips, tobacco, alcohol and coffee. No oil except olive and mac nut. To keep your skin clear, drink water, tea, unsweetened veggie and fruit juice. Join a gym; they have all the equipment and staff to show you how to use it to get the look you want to achieve, but you have to ask them. Much cheaper than buying your own equipment. Go hiking, biking, jogging, bowling, swimming, rowing, jump rope, play tennis, badminton, volleyball, soccer, jumping jacks, lift weights, trampoline? To tone your tummy, do sit ups, push ups, pull ups, leg lifts, butt raises and crunches. For more energy, take Super B complex.

  • Food- over all have healthy meals, eat 3 times a day, one meal should be full of protien for example eggs for breakfast, or chicken for dinner. Snacks, eat fruits. Not to much though. And alow ur self to eat a bit of junk food too like one of the mini milkyway bars. Trust me, its better than binging. For excersizing I'm lazy so what I do is walk my dog, stretch, dance, JUMP ROPE, and I do cheerleading. Try excersizing a little everyday instead of working out a shit load in one or two days. Have fun! Oh and ur carbs, fats and proteins should be all an equal percent. Get the app lose it! to track!
  • Eat real food. The one thing that EVERY diet recommends is to avoid refined carbohydrates and sugars. None of this stuff that's mostly high fructose corn syrup, white flour and added vitamins and chemicals you can't pronounce. Shop the edge of the store: meats, cheeses, dairy, the produce aisle. Whole grain cereals are good, as are beans and lentils. Eggs are healthy and cheap protein. Eat three meals a day, and a light snack before bedtime. Drink water, tea, coffee - natural juice is OK but not the kind with added HFC. For exercise, walking, running, bicycling, and swimming are the best all-over exercises for keeping your muscles toned. "Thin" is the business of the diet, not the exercise.
