What would you say about my current BMI?

I am taking a poll about my BMI, and I would like for you to tell me what you think of it.I have a BMI of 22.1, and that is considered normal weight. I have wanted to lose 20 pounds since I started trying to lose weight (a little over four weeks ago), and I've only managed to keep off 4 pounds. Do you think I should just be happy with my BMI as is or keep trying to lose weight? Please do NOT say, "Your BMI sounds about right, but if you still want to lose weight, go ahead." This poll is extremely serious.

Recommended Answer:

You left out many important details. If losing 20 pounds does not put you in the underweight category, I suggest you do it in the healthiest way possible. That would be by cutting sweets, desserts, sugary beverages, & junk/fast food. Of course, exercise 4 to 5 days a week is also a good idea. Good Luck.

  • You're at a good weight. Losing 20 pounds isn't just needless. It's dangerous. You're at a good weight. Don't try to become underweight.
